By accessing or using the Snow Leopard International Medicine (SLIM) website (the “Site”) at https://www.snowleopardintlmed.org/, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site. SLIM may update these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

Snow Leopard International Medicine (SLIM) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing medical care to remote Himalayan communities in Nepal, primarily through the MediLoop™ program in the Khumbu region (Pangboche and surrounding areas).

3. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws;
• Transmit harmful code, spam, or disruptive content;
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with SLIM;
• Scrape, data-mine, or interfere with the proper functioning of the Site;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site.

4. Donations and Transactions

All donations made through the Site are voluntary and generally non-refundable. SLIM aims to direct 100% of donations toward field operations, medicines, logistics, and local team support. Tax receipts will be issued where applicable. International donors should consult their local tax regulations.

5. Volunteering and Participation

Volunteering (global, local Nepali, or trekker support) is subject to additional agreements, screening processes, safety briefings, and risk acknowledgment. Participants assume all risks associated with high-altitude travel, remote environments, and related activities. SLIM is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage except as required by law.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including text, images, logos, and program descriptions, is owned by SLIM or its licensors and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view and print limited portions for personal, non-commercial use with proper attribution. No other reproduction, modification, or commercial use is permitted without prior written consent.

7. Links to Third-Party Sites

The Site may contain links to external websites. SLIM is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or security of those sites.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
